UPDATE: Surprise! Well, we were pretty young when we were rescued from the shelter, so our people didn't realize one of us is a girl! Lucia is the pretty green and yellow girl budgie! Our foster mom says we may be the cutest couple in town. We even like to sit on the swing together. We also play with all of our toys together at the same time. Petrie is a wonderful boy budgie -- who talks and chirps and gurgles all day; Lucia chirps along, too. Hi, We're Luca and Petrie, two very very cute boy budgies. We were rescued from a shelter by a terrific Mickaboo volunteer, and she must have brought us straight to budgie heaven! We live in a comfy house and are fed lots of good food. When our new foster mom wants to play with us, she offers us millet! She also sings to us and reads and chats, just like a budgie! We are little embarassed, but the only time were were still enough to have our picture taken was when we were eating millet. Ah, well. At least this is a picture of two happy budgies.
