One definition of "sprite" is a fairy, older than an elf, with a pleasing appearance. Well, my appearance isn't just pleasing. I'm a downright gorgeous pied female cockatiel. I also have a pleasing singing voice, not usually true of female cockatiels. I like to sing a pretty little song to call to my human friends. Though 11 is not especially old for a cockatiel (and I have no idea if it is older than your average elf), I have some arthritis in one wing and toe, possibly from an injury some time ago. I won't divulge the details, but it had something to do with cats. Now all cats look like monsters to me! I've plucked at my wing because it bothers me, but I've been put on some medication to make it more comfortable so that should help (but I may never care for cats). Other than that, I'm very healthy and eat well. I enjoy my pellets but veggies just don't appeal yet. For my first 11 years, I've lived with one person who loved me very much. Now he's gone away to college and I need a new home. I'm a very tame, loving girl. I make friends easily, love to have my head scritched, and adore riding around on shoulders. Could you please make sure my fairy tale ends with this Sprite living happily ever after? Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
