Hi, hi and hello! We are Meenie, Miney and Nutmeg, three little Budgie (not PUDGIE) ladies who are looking for two loving homes. Our foster mom has spoiled us just a bit with her love and nummies, but she feels likes it’s time for us to go to our forever Budgie homes! UPDATE: Nutmeg has started her new life in wonderful forever home with her very own best friend, Frankie. Meenie and I (Miney) grew up together; we’re like old sorority sisters and do everything together! We like to have our breakfast, gossip a little, and have our mutual love of chewing things in our aviary in the afternoons. Don’t worry though, we are a fairly quiet duo unless you put us with some handsome men- then we’ll make some pretty music! We keep to ourselves and are not hand-tame, which is all right because you don’t need to hold us. Meenie has an injury from the war...no, just kidding, a little bird accident that you can ask our foster mom about. It makes for good dinner conversation. (I think she just uses it to get the bigger food dish because she prefers flat surfaces, since her toes are disabled.) Meenie is not to be trifled with, though; she doesn’t let anyone get by with stealing her food. We’re not asking for much, just a little more stimulation and company. We like to get our beauty sleep and have our “me” time with our cage covered at night. We’re pretty, amusing and easy to take care of—who wouldn’t want to add us to their flock? You should really adopt us; we are spectacular, if we do say so ourselves…which we do. Quite often. Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
