Sometimes a bird's gotta be what a bird's gotta be. I'm Norman, a pied cockatiel. My brightest future may be with some other cockatiel buddies in a large indoor aviary. Right now, I'm high-strung, not tame, and frankly terrified of people. I'm a young guy, so it is possible a very patient, gentle, persistent person could teach me to trust you humans. But I don't come with that kind of guarantee. I'm happiest flocking with a few other birds in a roomy space, though I do enjoy "out time" -- being out and hanging out on top of my cage. In addition to my bird friends, my favorite things are mirrors, millet, and avicakes. Anything new makes me nervous, so it helps if I can see one of my braver bird friends leading the way and enjoying the new toy or dish or whatever.
