I'm Monte George and I am a scarlet macaw. My history is unknown since I was dumped on someone's porch in cardboard box. Mickaboo got me to vet right away and despite my plucking and ragged feathers I'm in pretty good health. The doctor also said I was a boy and about 35 years old. I am really enjoying life in my new foster home and my foster mom says I am a perfect gentleman. She decided to name me Monte, because she says I looks like I'm doing a "Full Monte". I like the name Monte, but after I was there about a week I told them my old name is George. So now you can call me Monte George! .I am also real talker, but I mostly talk when I think I'm by myself. My mom caught me chattering on a hidden video camera and posted it on YouTube! You see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-moZnVOGyU&feature=youtu.be I love my foster home, but I am hoping to find a true forever home. I am sad to report the George has passed away. it was very sudden and he died in the arms of his foster dad.
