Hi there! My new name is Pahki. When I came from the shelter no one knew my name, and though I love to talk, I didn’t feel like sharing it. So my foster mom did a bit of research and decided to name me “Pahki”.

It was reported that I was confiscated by animal control due to neglect but nobody really knows my history. I was a bit underweight and my feathers looked a bit shabby when I was admitted, however, a visit to the avian vet reported that I was in good health! A few good showers and my feathers looked sleek and I was handsome once again. By the way I really do appreciate a good spray bath and will spread my wings and turn around so you can get every feather.

I am quite the charmer. I like people and will greet you with an, “I love you” or ”Hi Baby”. I also say “pretty bird” and “pretty baby”. Every morning when my foster mom comes in to feed me I greet her with a cheery, “good morning.” Actually, any time she feeds me I say, good morning.  I’m pretty cute. Though I’m quite a chatter box, I am not very noisy and know how to use my inside voice.

I love to eat! I eat two kinds of pellets, fruits and veggies and nuts. I like scrambled eggs and many other things. I get so excited when mom comes to put food in my dish that I scurry over and wait patiently for her to fill my dish. I love it when she hands me a treat like a nut or nutriberry. Mmmn, mmmn good.

Other favorite passtimes of mine are napping on my favorite rope perch, and destroying any piece of wood my foster mom will give me.

I hope you’ll consider adopting me. I am a really good boy. If you do I will tell you my newest phrase, “kissy, kissy.” I hope to hear from you soon!
