I flew into someone's backyard and they picked me up. After attempting to find my person, they thought about keeping me. Then they realized I had a health problem and took me to the shelter. The shelter called Mickaboo. I was taken by a volunteer to a wonderful avian vet office. I was diagnosed with papilloma and given treatments to reduce the papilloma that I had. Now I'm feeling much better and moving to a foster home temporarily. I have a new long term foster home that cares for papilloma birds. Yay! This illness is contagious to other birds and is very expensive to treat so I stay in a home with only papilloma birds. Mickaboo pays for my vet bills but I need someone who can love and feed me and take me to the vet when my illness flares up. I will love you very much in return. Mickaboo still needs foster homes for papilloma birds. If you can foster me and other papilloma birds, please contact the amazon coordinator. If you want to make a donation, you can send a check to Mickaboo and put my name at the bottom of the check. Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
