Hi, I'm Felicity. I was recently rescued from a home where they didn't know how to properly care for me, and as you can see, I plucked most of my feathers out. But now I am in a new home and cage and I am settling in just fine! I can't wait until I can meet the other birds, but I call to them so that they know I am here. The doctor said that I am healthy and my feathers should start growing back soon. Either that or I wish summer would come, I get cold so easy. I am getting to try all kinds of new things, like pellets, millet and these green things called vegetables. I even have toys and a name for the first time in my life. We are slowly working on getting me used to people, but we don't want to rush things too much. But they say that since I am so young anything is possible and that I have potential. Imagine that, I have potential! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
