Hi, I'm Kennedy, one of the cherryheaded conures from the flock in San Francisco that was featured in the movie, "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill." Some of my friends were stars in that movie. I came to Mickaboo because I had an accident, including blood over one of my eyes. Thanks to a nice woman who found me on Telegraph Hill, I was eventually taken in by Mickaboo and now, I'm completely better. In fact, I'm a great big, robust bird if I do say so myself. I'm keeping everyone guessing, but I just might be a girl!

My little best friend Judah (we're all named after streets in San Francisco) is pictured here with me. Isn't she sweet! She also had an injury to her right eye (but in her case, we think she got attacked by a hawk). How scary! Her injury is all cleared up, but she has lost her vision in that eye. But she is so strong and resilient, otherwise healthy, friendly, energetic ... and I think, really beautiful! Don't you?

And here is what our new foster mom has to say about us (we've really charmed her):

Judah and Kennedy have settled well here and they are the sweetest birds ever - it is amazing to see how they care for each other. They are having their daily sun bathing and enjoying it! Today both of them took a bath and looked like wet chicks afterwards. They are slowly feeling more confident and are trying to get out of the cage for some treats.
