Update 11/24/06: Sam developed a case of face mites, for which she has now been treated. While Sam has recovered, she will need to be checked by an avian vet fairly frequently for a while to give her beak trims if they are needed. Hi, I'm Sam the budgie! Sam is a good name for me, since we're not sure if I'm a boy or a girl. I'm a little aggressive, which tends to be a female trait in budgies, but either way, I'm still adorable! I love shoulder rides, music, and toys with bells. I'm four and a half years old, am already on a pellet diet, and I'm in fine health. Unfortunately, my owner can no longer keep me. I promise I'll be no trouble at all--if I bring my own toys, will you be my new shoulder to ride on? Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
