Bishop here. The first thing that you should know about me is that I'm best friends with Tommy the cockatiel, who I met in foster care. This means that Tommy and I get to stay together forever, so we are a package deal! I'm probably about six years old and was found by a woman who took good care of me for most of that time. She had to move recently so she surrendered me to Mickaboo. I was a bit shy in foster care at first but have been doing much better. The best thing about coming to foster care for me was meeting and bonding with Tommy, who was attacked by crows and is healing. I like being with him and looking out for him, and all of this has helped to make me a happier bird. We are flock animals, after all, and I'm lucky to have found another bird like me who needed a companion. I sing and whistle a little bit, though I will also call out loudly when Tommy is not nearby. I play with palm shredder toys and like helping Tommy to play and enjoy himself too. I'm on a good diet of avian cakes which I will eat out of my foster mom's hand! She says that I'm a very loving and dedicated little guy, judging from the way that I treat Tommy. If you're looking for two best-friend birds who will be happy to be your friend as well, call Mickaboo and ask to speak to Bishop and Tommy! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
