I came in here looking for somethin' I couldn't find anywhere else Well, I don't want to be nobody, Just want a chance to be myself. That's the song that me and ole Buck used to sing when we wuz walking the streets of Bakersfield. I couldn't remember the words the other day when I was moseyin' down the streets of South San Francisco. I'd been in a nasty fight, lost some tail feathers, and I was plum tuckered out! I walked on up to a nice lookin' lady, meanin' to ask if she could help me remember the words, but she wuz so nice, I just went home with her. She brought me to Mickaboo -- so she wuz even nicer than I thought! This here foster home is a lot nicer than I remember Bakersfield. I'm a friendly guy, like to hang out on friends' shoulders, sing up a storm, don't like fightin'. I'd be happy to Mosey on over to your neck of the woods and hang out a while. Story posted on: June 7, 2006 Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
