Updated 12/16/2010 Hello, we're Captain and JoJo, a couple of older lutino cockatiels. We had lived together in the same home for many years but our human companion recently had to move and couldn't take us. The Captain -- he's the one in front in our picture -- has a hard time walking around much because of some old leg injuries, but, with some specialized cage accessories such as low, flat perches and soft towels, he's able to get along well. JoJo, who's a bit younger, is very protective of his best friend and will do all that he can to see that the Captain's needs are taken care of. We're just settling into foster care and getting used to eating our veggies and Nutri-An cakes every day. Our foster mom is taking great care of us and we appreciate it. We don't ask for much: a safe, accomodating home, proper care, a little healthy food, and a sunny window to watch the world in our golden years is all that we need -- and each other, of course. We are best friends who are ready for a new human companion to make our lives complete. Would you consider being our friend? Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
