Aug. 2010 - I have started trying to talk when I hear the other Amazon in the house speaking English but still sound like I'm squawking. However, I am not nearly as loud as him though and in fact, my squawks are quite mellow. I previously lived in a house with a conure. July 2010 - Things are happening so fast for me that my feathered head is spinning. Someone brought me to a shelter and then another person got me out of the shelter very quickly. This guy is a Mickaboo volunteer and he took me for a checkup. All those peanuts I've been eating weren't very good for me. I need lots of green and orange vegetables to make me strong again. I'm still trying to figure out where I am and who is everybody. If you would like to cook some sweet potatoes for me and hang out, let the amazon coordinator know. Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
