Hi! We're Mia (on the left), and Betty (on the right,) a gorgeous pair of cockatiel ladies! Mia is a cinnamon pearl, while Betty is a cinnamon pearly pied. Like our friend Jolee, we came from a home that had a few too many cockatiels to give us the time and attention we needed. Both of us were born in April 2008 so we're still very young. Because of this, we're still a bit shy and it takes us some time to get used to new people. Mia will step up and remain on your finger with a little coaxing, but Betty will need more work before she's willing to stay on your finger. Thankfully, we both have the gentle disposition that cockatiels are famous for, and are very well mannered with our beaks, so with your help we can become the perfect companions! We're on great diets and are interested in trying healthy new foods. If you have room for two cockatiels, please give our coordinator a call. We're waiting! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
