Hi! I'm a friendly and, if I do say so myself, pretty little bird. My name is Fuzz and I just recently came to a new home here with Mickaboo, which is suiting me fine. I"m getting to know my new foster dad, who's pretty Ok in my book. I like to perch on shoulders -- oh, and heads. Heads are fun! I will also climb onto your wrist or arm on that "step up" command. But hands.... hm, not so sure about hands. And, since I'm a conure you probably want to know about that beak. Well, I know it can be a scary thing for humans, so I try real hard to be careful using it with a mild pressure, just to give you a little warning when you do something that I don't like. So, if you really want to know more about me and what I do like, then "These are a few of my favorite things!" Foods that are crunchy, like Roudybush pellets Sleeping in tent-beds that hang in my cages Home-from-work Greetings inspire me to sing Those are a few of my favorite things! If you've awoken, but aren't really up yet Letting you know that it's time for my breakfast Calling aloud just to see what it brings Those are a few of my favorite things! Showers with people I really love having Lightly sprayed mists I do find myself craving Head and neck scritches, but not on my wings Those are a few of my favorite things! In the evening I make loud sounds The tra-di-tion-al conure call And if you remember - it's what conures do You'll find it's not bad -- at -- all! Ok, so those are some of my favorite things. My foster dad also wants me to tell you about some of the things that I'm not so keen on, just do that you know. Ok, he's trying to get me interested in fresh foods. But so far, I really do prefer food that "go crunch." Maybe some cruncy vegetables? Now other birds -- I'm neither here nor there about them, so far. But they are all new to me. Chew toys, they're ok. But just ok. Oh, and lastly, BROOMS! Please, never, no brooms. Scary scary.... Ok, gotta go. Dad is coming home from work and it's time for my "Conure Greeting" to him!
