UPDATE: Doodlebug has become quite attached to her cage mate, Stewie. Her foster mom feels that it would not be right to separate these two happy buddies, so we are looking for a home for the two them. Hi. My name's Doodlebug, but you can call just me Doodle! I'm an adorable budgie who was found as a stray in San Jose. As you can see from my photo, I'm quite tiny, but I pack a lot of energy into my little frame. I don't make a lot of sounds, but I love zooming around my cage with my buddie, Stewie! I don't quite step up, but once I'm on a hand, I accept head scratches and it's clear that I have been around people before. I must have been without food for a while out there in the wild, because my foster mom can hardly keep up with refilling my food dish. But I have already won her heart--will you give me a chance to win yours?
