I'm Luke, a normal grey cockatiel with some cinnamon highlights. I was found outdoors in Santa Clara County with an injury to one of my wings. After a lot of supportive care by a Mickaboo volunteer and veterinary care from an expert avian vet, I am feeling much better! I was quite scared and angry when I got into foster care but that was partially because I was in so much pain. Now that that's over I'm quite a friendly little guy. I will step onto my foster mom's hand and I love to come out of my tank to visit with her. She thinks that I was probably somebody's pet because I am so well socialized, but so far nobody has come to claim me. I am all ready to be addopted into a happy and loving home! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
