JJ is a great bird. Quiet as Macaw's go. He seems more partial to women even though a gentleman was his first love. He is almost ready to step up and has on a few occasions done so but it has to be his idea. He will do almost anything for a nut. He is now eating Zupreem and and about 1/4 of the seeds he used to eat when he first came to the foster home. He loves all fruits and veggies and is a very good eater. His favorite thing is sitting on the top of his cage looking outside. He never climbs down and never makes a mess. He loves saying "hello JJ", "hi there", "got a problem", "whats the matter", and "where's Bummer". He is not scared of dogs or cats and has always had other big birds around him. Recently we took her to the vet for her first check-up since coming to Mickaboo, and the vet fell in love with him and commented on what a very very intelligent bird he was. He loves getting baths and prefers to get them about once a week. If you forget he will start doing so himself in his water dish just to give you a reminder it is bath time.
