Austin

Austin is a gorgeous West of England Tumber pigeon. He was found as a stray on 9/24 in San Jose and as a fancy domestic pigeon, is unable to survive in the wild. He was fortunate to find his way to the San Jose Animal Care Shelter and then was rescued from a fate of euthanasia (for lack of space) by MickaCoo on 10/3. He is gorgeous with extravagantly feathered feet and rich purple iridescense throughout the feathers of his throat and breast. Austin is much smaller than a king pigeon but makes up for lack of size with his fancy finery. We're not sure yet of gender but now think he's male. He is currently single, gets along well with others in the loft and seems to prefer pigeons to people.
