I am about 23 years old and lived with my owner for 17 years before she moved into a nursing home. She sat in her chair, fed me treats and scratched my head while I sat on the arm of her chair. Those were good times. Then she became sick and didn't remember who I was. She moved and I was in her empty home and visited by family and neighbors every day. Her family found Mickaboo on the internet and asked them to find me a good home. They say I talk and sing "Happy Birthday". There is another amazon in the foster home to talk with. I hope this amazon understands me. It takes time to get used to all these changes. My species is a little reserved until we get to know you. Everyone says there is a new adventure ahead of me. Would you like to have an adventure with me? Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
