Update 2/9/2012: Hey there, it?s me, Sienna. After some great TLC from the folks at Mickaboo, I?m finally starting to kick my cough! My foster dad says I am doing great eating a healthy diet of pellets, fresh fruits and veggies, but I need to keep taking my medicine for a little while longer to keep up my strength. I?ve been recovering in my own room and I like it a lot. My foster dad thinks I would be OK with other birds around in the same room, but I?ll need my very own cage so I have a safe place to be. So far my favorite place to hang out is on a shoulder. My foster dad calls it ?shoulder surfing?. Sounds way better than that kind with the water and waves! I don?t like to step up on my foster dad?s finger ? but I do like to climb up onto him to get to that shoulder. I?m not quite ready for adoption yet, but check back soon! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
