Lucky! That is what they should have named me. I was spotted on a highway onramp by a very brave person who jumped out of their car and came to my rescue. My wing was bleeding due to a broken blood feather. My rescuer stopped the bleeding and brought me to the vet the next day. They think I had been out there for a while - guess I looked a bit ruffled and hungry. Now I'm enjoying all the good stuff like pellets and Birdie Cakes, and I'm even getting used to veggies and leafy greens. Currently I live in a wonderful foster home with lots of other cockatiels. I enjoy their company but have not bonded with any of them yet. I'm a beautiful healthy pearl girl with lots of personality and, with a little training should learn how to step up for you quickly. Hopefully I will get lucky again finding the perfect forever home, maybe at your house ? Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
