Hi there! I am Megha (pronounced as "may-gha"). I came to Mickaboo from a shelter, so not much is known about my past. I am quite plucked and missing all my tail feathers. With some medical attention and proper diet, I am slowly starting to grow feathers here and there. Hopefully, I will have all my lovely feathers soon. I currently eat a mix of Harrison's fine pellets and Zupreem natural. I enjoy eating fruits and nuts as well. I like to bathe in the shower weekly and love those spray baths in between. When I hear music, I sometimes do a funny dance with head-twists. How cute is that? I am sort of socialized. Actually when I am away from my cage and other birds, I am quite friendly. I would step up on to my foster mom's finger and like to sit on her shoulder (though I sometimes nip if she tries to get me down). But, when I am inside/near my cage, I am very territorial. My foster mom is working with me on changing that. Also, I get very hormonal and aggressive if I am around the other ringneck(male) in my foster home. So, I am now in a separate room away from him. My foster mom says that I am a very smart bird and am quite curious to learn new things. Despite being aggressive at times, I am a very sweet bird and love human attention. I may need a bit of TLC, but I promise to be a sweet little companion to you! Print this page |
