UPDATE: All my feathers have grown back in! I love my foster dad, and am definitely fond of my men. Check out more pictures of me by clicking here to go to my Flikr page.

Oh! Well, hello there! My name's Maggie and boy am I fluffy just like a cloud! See, I was taken in from a shelter, so not much is known about my past. I had some emotional baggage when I first came into Mickaboo, and was plucking my feathers a lot. Now I only have my fluffy down feathers on my body, but my new foster mom has been working with me a lot by hiding goodies all over my cage that I have to find and providing me with yummy food, fun toys, and plenty of light. Some of my new feathers are starting to come in, and I'm thinking I might let them stay there this time. I've been to the bird doctor, and they said I was stronger than a walnut shell!

I am a happy girl, feisty and spicy like an Indian curry, and love to explore and find out new things. My foster mom says I'm really smart, and I figure out my foraging puzzles pretty quick. I love taking baths, and will flap and splash around in a dish when it's bath time. I also love to give kisses, and sit behind you on the back of the couch and preen your hair. I just love being with my people, but I definitely prefer men. I will call out to you when I'm lonely or can't see you, if you are around the house, I want to be with you!

One thing though, is that before, I was rooming with Boko, and he got me all hot and bothered. My unbalanced hormones make me a little cage territorial, but if you just give me some space, I'll be glad to step up a little later. My hormones and plucking have both calmed down quite a bit, and I am ready to find my new forever family!

Contact my coordinator, I'd love to meet you!
