Well, there's good luck and bad luck and sometimes it's hard to tell what you've drawn. But this feels pretty good. I thought I'd go for a little fly-around and ended up in the wild jungle and then was in an animal shelter for a looooong time, with no other birds. Now I'm in a nice home with lots of other budgies, although they seem to be far away. (What is "quarantine", anyway?) Oh well, a budgie named Archie stopped by to visit this afternoon. And we've been chatting back and forth. So I'm ready to settle in and see what this good luck turns into. Maybe my forever home.
