I'm a four year old kid named Bridget, formerly Widget - and Midget before that! My vet thinks I might be a boy so maybe another new name is order again! Seriously though, I am a cute little goffins that needs a new home. My Mama can't really afford to keep me any more with costs of food, annual vet care and all. She loves me soooo much though that she wants me to have a special place to live the rest of my life. I'm a very friendly little bird and love to hang out with my Mama all day long. At my last home my foot was broken - stepped on if I remember correctly and I received no vet care for it. So, though I have enough use of it that I can stand on it, but I cannot grip so I don't really like to sit on shoulders as I don't feel too secure. I'll sit on your lap though! I LOVE to take baths in the sink. In fact Mom likes to tell everyone it's nearly impossible to do the dishes as I just want to hop right in it! I like spritzes with the spray bottle as well. I eat quite well including avicakes (though I do like to eat the seeds out first), some parrot seed mix, fruits and vegetables. I even get eggs for breakfast sometimes. I love all sorts of foods including parsley, collards, carrots, strawberries, melons and even . . .gasp! ... chicken! I don't say any human words but I show my affection in other ways. I really just want to be with my human! I'm a bit jealous of human kids so you might need to keep an eye on me around children - but everyone else I do great with! Thinking of adding a parrot to your family? Maybe a fun loving little goffins is just the bird for you! Maybe me! Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
