My name is Lulu and I've been having a bit of a rough time. Somebody dumped me at the corner of 32nd Avenue and Santos. Lucky for me, the SFACC Animal Control Officers picked me up before the dogs and hawks and cats got me! I arrived at the shelter on 3/25 and I tried to keep it together but they noticed on 4/3 that I was sick. MickaCoo came and got me and has been taking care of me. I'm not a young bird in the first place (OK, I'm pretty much a senior citizen!) and then I got dumped like yesterday's trash... Well, mine surely would be a very sad story if it wasn't for the kindness of strangers.
