I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Hi again! I am a new bird! I love my cage and toys and I even have a play stand so that I can talk to the other Amazon parro in the house. I am way more sophisticated than he is, but do NOT tell him I said so.

I have learned how to 'step up' and I am finally eating a pelleted diet and even some veggies. My foster mom is totally amazed with my language skills. Not only am I a proficient speaker, I also sing opera songs. Really. Want proof? Click here to watch some clips of me online . . . and I am not even warmed up yet!

My first 3 primary wing feathers are growing in! I am excited about them and hope to get more of my gorgeous feathers back soon. I just need to have other things to chew on besides my feathers because I really like to chew (like any Amazon, actually).

My foster family really loves having me around. I am such a sweetheart that I know I will not be available for long. Wanna come over and fall in love with me?

Hi there! I am Rascal and I am a GOOD bird. Well, I tell myself I am that is. Hey, if I didn?t say my name and tell you how good I am, how would you know anything about me? My foster mom wanted to name me ?Samson? (as in that guy that got weak when he lost his hair). What's up with that? I just lost my home, I was not about to give up my name too! Geez!

I was found soaking wet (and naked) in a field around Sacramento. I was taken to a shelter and released to the care of Mickaboo. I got to see a veterinarian, got some medicine and then a new foster home. I like my new cage. It's big and FILLED with colorful toys! I like it so very much that I have allowed some of my feathers to start growing back! I am quite beautiful, just a little on the naked side right now. But I have high hopes for that to change. I am a very sweet bird. I am learning how to "step-up" and I actually like being held so I can flap, flap, flap! Someday, when my wings grow a few primary feathers, I may fly again. I have to keep in practice!

I speak well and like the action of a house filled with kids and other creatures. I don't mind noise one bit. My diet is currently not so great (sunflower seeds and dried corn), but my foster mom is working hard to change that and help me to eat right.

Come and meet the sweetest Amazon you could imagine: me!

Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot. If you intend to house an amazon, please research the following websites:
