Unfortunately we don't have a picture of this little girl because she didn't make it long enough to be placed into a foster home. Tasha came into a shelter with a fractured spine and Mickaboo was contacted. We got her to an ER clinic and then to one of our avian vets the next morning. She seemed to be doing well but the vet thinks little Tasha was just too dehydrated despite all the supportive care provided and her little organs just could not handle it. We tried our best and Tasha gave it her all but it was just too late. Rest in peace sweet girl. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
