Petey here. I'm a blue- fronted Amazon, probably about 5 years old. My foster mom thinks that I'm a male. I've only been in foster care for about two and a half weeks after coming from a shelter in San Francisco. So far I am doing very well. I eat all the healthy foods that they give me here. My favorite is the apricot, oatmeal and crumbled pellet mix I get in the evening. I'm quiet as Amazons go, although I do talk a little in a mysterious gravelly voice. I haven't come out of my cage to visit with people much but I love to get my head scritched from inside of my cage. My foster mom says that I am still settling in here so check back in a few weeks to see how I am doing! Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
