My name is Shazaam. I think that means "Budgie who can open cage doors" because my foster mom started calling me that about the third time she caught me flying around the upstairs. Sheesh! It was boorrrring in that cage. Now I live with Pogo, a cute little boy budgie and I never sneak out of my cage! I'm still a pretty young girl, but I've had an adventurous life. Nobody knows how I lost one foot, but I lived in an aviary for a while, with lots of budgies and cockatiels and even conures. I got along very well there, but they closed the aviary and I moved into this house, where I had to break out of my cage to fly around the house. After all, flying around was what I was used to. Now that Pogo has moved in, I don't fly around the house anymore, although I would like to fly around a bigger cage sometime. Maybe my forever home will have a bigger cage, and Pogo and I can fly around together! That would be wonderful..... Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
