My name is Arlee. I?m a middle aged gal of 13 to 15 years. My most recent home was in an aviary with many other cockatiels. I had my own cage though, within the aviary, as my owner wanted to protect me from the younger crowd. I was fed a very good diet of seed and pellet mix. My owner really did not want to give me up but her living circumstances changed and she lost the use of the land where my aviary was located. She?d worked with Mickaboo placing birds in the past though- so knew who to contact to find me a new home. I?m a pretty little yellow lutino with bright orange cheek patches. My feathers are in good shape and I step up- on my own terms- usually with a bit of a nip first. . . .mostly bluff though. I just want to let you know I?m in charge is all. I don?t particularly like being in quarantine but get so excited to hear the other ?tiels in this house. I can?t wait to go in with them. For now though we call back and forth to one another. If you?d like a lovely senior lady to be pals with please contact my personal coordinator. Can you do that soon please? Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
