Our names are Alfredo and Amaretto and we're king pigeons. We're sold for meat (!) but sometimes people set us free and, since we can't survive in the wild, us lucky ones find our way to the animal shelter. Really lucky ones get rescued and are given a chance to find a forever home as beautiful pets. We're very nice birds! Alfredo is the all white one and Amaretto is mostly white with cute brown spots and a gray/brown tail. They are both a little bashful and shy, but would do great in an aviary. Both of them can fly okay (but not well enough to safely leave the loft) and they are beautiful to watch. They make a great pair with Amaretto being the nesty one and Alfredo being the watchbird. Both are a little too shy to be with people yet, but they love to watch whatever you are up to.
