"Hullo,Hi,Howudoin" Those are just some of the words I say. I am a middle aged Blue & Gold macaw about 35 years old. I lived in my last home for 21 years and used to love to dance and sing with my human "dad". He wants only the best for me and I know Mickaboo does too so here I am. I am big. I am somewhat reserved. I am generally quiet. I like attention but not a lot of "touchy feely" stuff. I like being with other birds my size but have not shown any interest in birds smaller than I am. I like cats and dogs too. We used to have a dog named Brenda in my previous home and when I saw another dog in my foster home I knew immediately that it was a "Brenda". Sometimes I tell Brenda to "come here" or "stop it". I also have an imaginary friend for many years named "McNair" and I call to him often. I have been calling a cat in my foster home "McNair" now too. I'm getting the hang of toys and have become a shredding fiend. I was a bit stiff in the wings and feet but have been climbing around on nets and have become very agile. My foster mom gives me lots of spray showers and I am getting pretty good at flapping. I also LOVE music and have my own style of singing and dancing. I know how to step up and have very nice manners. If you are home during the day to give me company and help me continue my exercise, we could have so much fun together. In the meantime I'll be hanging out with Brenda and McNair and all the other critters here, waiting for your visit. By the way - I love blueberries, bananas, and tangerines in case you want to stock up. Call me! Print this page |
