Hello everyone! My name is Taffy, and I'm a blue crowned conure that came into Mickaboo after being surrendered to a shelter. I'm now with a foster parent and settling in great. I'm a very tame and socialized bird, but my foster mom found out on the drive home from the shelter that I get carsick, so I definitely need a home that doesn't plan on driving around with me a lot! My foster mom is positive that in time I'll be mimicking words, but for now I just squawk (I laughed for the people at the shelter too). I already have a favourite toy, I despise the vacuum cleaner, and I step up when asked. I eat avicakes and zupreem pellets, I'm still considering whether fruits and vegetables are really as good for me as everyone says though! :)
I'm hoping that I'll be able to move into a forever home soon - so, if you think you're the home for me, please read more on the Mickaboo site about the adoption approval process, then email the conure coordinator and let her know!
