Hello there! My name is Dixie and I was surrendered to an animal shelter and now share a cage with Darla and Spanky. Like Darla, I'm a beautiful pearl cockatiel. I haven't learned to enjoy pellets yet, but my foster mom is working on improving my diet. I like to play with bell toys and run around our spacious cage. Though I?m obviously a sweet girl, I'm not tame or comfortable with people getting too close. But I don't try to rule the roost (I let my cagemate do that), and patient, gentle guidance could lead me to accept a human as my friend. In any case, I could bring a special spark to your life, and that ain't just whistling Dixie!
