Hey there! I'm Moe-that's short for Mozambeak. I'm an older lovebird in need of a new home. My first mom got me when she was ten- but she's real busy now so she thought it would be better if I found a place where I'd get more attention. I'm agreeable to that so Mickaboo's helping me find a new place. It's great- they do all the screening and pre- app stuff so I don't have to! My foster Dad says these good things about me: "Mozambeak seems to be saying human words. It's very difficult to make out the words, but he's definitely using that sing-songy little bird speech that budgies and cockatiels use. I've heard something that could be 'hello' and two different five-syllable phrases, one of which has the same intonation as 'I'm a pretty bird.' He also makes cute little kissy noises when I put him to bed. He's doing really well. He's started foraging and playing with his new toys and he's having a blast chatting back and forth with another lovebird here that I am fostering as well.." So, even thought Mickaboo is working on finding me a new place I thought I'd put in my two cents worth as well. Do you like birds? Lovebirds are pretty darn cute-especially me! I'll make it worth your while if you adopt me- I'll give you lots of undivided attention- I promise! Print this page |
