Hello, my name is Darla and I'm a lovely pearly cockatiel girl who came to Mickaboo by way of an animal shelter. Though I may not have known much about a varied diet before, I am already eating a pellet mash. I'm very sweet and pretty, but not tame. I like to play with toys, especially my little bells, but people are rather scary to me. When the other cockatiels here start to sing, I will join in. I get along fine with my cockatiel cagemates, but I let then know who's in charge. Maybe I could fit into your life as a companion for another cockatiel, or maybe you could teach me to appreciate human companionship or maybe there is some other way I could fit into your life. After all, pearls go with everything. Story posted on: February 25, 2006 Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
