Why couldn't the conductor see the sheet music? Because it was . . . ahem. Haydn's the name and I am a 4 year-old grey cockatiel with an ear for good music and a taste for good food! Before I came to Mickaboo my name was "Breeder Number Seven" or "Hey bird." Yes, I worked for a bird breeder for most of my life, but don't blame me for that -- I had no say in the matter! The breeder sold me to a woman who cared for me but couldn't keep me because of family matters. She brought me in to Mickaboo and I am all settled into foster care and ready to find a forever home. As soon as the good people at Mickaboo listened to the beautiful songs that I whistled, my new name became Haydn. It's nice to finally be recognized as a musical genius after all this time! I also know how to say "pretty bird" and make other people sounds. My foster mom says that I am a friendly bird who craves human companionship and good food. After being on a seed diet, all of these pellets, greens and veggies are a great experience! I have some catching up to do in the socializing department, having been in a breeder's coop for my whole life, but I am proving to be a quick learner and consider myself lucky to have this chance. I'd love to go to a home with people and birds to keep me company, and plenty of good foods to share. Just call Mickaboo and ask for Haydn!
