Cindee is yet another lucky shelter bird that Mickaboo was able to take in. She came to us pretty run down and exhausted. Cindee is plucked around her neck but hopefully with a loving foster home and improved diet her feathers will soon begin to grow in. She is skittish and scared of hands at this point in time; pretty normal for a cockatiel who was lost out in the world, taken to the shelter, the vet....so many new faces and places! Cindee does love to be talked to ..... she will probably tame down quickly with a loving human who has the patience to work with her. She is a really great eater! Cindee will try just about anything you put in her food dish: apple, greens, shredded carrot, organic pumpkin and oatmeal! Would you like to make this sweet girl the newest member of your family? She would definitely love a home to call her own. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
