Aren't I a handsome boy? I'm Gizmo, a 5 year old Citron cockatoo. I am one of the smaller of the cockatoos but my personality is not "small". I can be a bit unpredictable at times and bite sometimes. My former housemate, Buttercup, and I were recently surrendered to Mickaboo. Our owners got busy with life and didn't have as much time to spend with us. We rebelled in different ways - I became more anti-social and Buttercup began to pluck. You see cockatoos are sensitive birds and we don't like change much. We like some routine and consistency in our lives. Do you have a stable home environment for a somewhat emotionally sensitive bird? If so, perhaps we'd get along! Won't you give me a chance to change and become a nice, more friendly bird again? I'm willing to give it a try if you are. Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
