UPDATE 10/4/05, from Rio and Tiki's new mom, who has adopted several budgies from Mickaboo: "Rio and Tiki were the first pair I got from Mickaboo. Tiki immediately paired up with Soleil, and they are still solely occupied with each other. Rio keeps trying with different, (sometimes "unavailable") females, such as Soleil the other day, with no success, which doesn't seem to dampen his enormous enthusiasm for life in the least." How about a little male bonding? Weíre male budgies Tiki and Rio. We were surrendered to an animal shelter and are just waiting to brighten up your home. I'm Rio, the blue boy. Tiki is the yellow and green. So you can see we cover a lot of the spectrum. We do a lot of cheerful chattering, too. We aren't really into handling, but are still fun and not too hard to have around. Weíre happy together in our cage or happy to come out and play around. When itís time, we even put ourselves back into our little home. So please let us bring music and color into your life! Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
