Hooray! We're cured! We're Merry and Pippen, two very pretty little budgies. When we came to Mickaboo we had a terrible case of scaly mites. When mites attack a bird, they burrow into soft tissue especially around our faces and feet, and create a horrid crust layer on the outside. It itches and is really terrible. It also makes our beaks and toenails grow in deformed shapes. It is very unpleasant. Fortunately for us, a wonderful sponsor stepped in to pay for our vet bills and a nice Mickaboo foster home has been taking care of us. And now we're back to being pretty girl budgies. What we really need now is a forever home. We can make any home more cheerful and bright, full of happy sounds and feathers. Wouldn't you like us to decorate your home?
