Hello there! My name is Frankie. It may be my 'real' name since I say "Hi Frankie Bird". I was found flying free - that's what happens when you don't get your wings clipped regularly. Of course, it was fun for awhile - but then I wanted my nice warm house and cage - with food and water. It was nowhere to be found. Luckily a nice soul found me and dropped me off at the local shelter. Then they called Mickaboo. Lucky me! I have a boo-boo on my foot so I need to have the vet look at that - but I'm sure I will be just fine. I am quite the character and I say some cute things like - "Hi! Pretty bird! Hello there, what are you doing? Oh, really?" However, I also have some very naughty words in my vocabulary as well - quite a few in fact. In fact one saying I blurted out startled the gal at the shelter so much that she dropped all the dishes she was carrying! I step up, but on my own terms, and so far I have not bitten anyone either. I am curious about people and especially about the other ringneck I hear in the other room at this place. I'd sure like to meet her. However, I also have a thing going with one of the cockatiels in the other room as well - we call out to each other throughout the day. Being able to talk to other birds, even if long distance is helping me get through my quarantine time. I'm kind of hoping I might get to stay at this place - I can't wait to meet the girl of my dreams in the other room. However, if it doesn't work out I will be ready to move on and get a new home.
