I'm Askem the cockatiel and soon I will be King of the Aviary! I was found flying in the great outdoors. Though I am somewhat tame and will sometimes step up, it's clear I've spent much time outside. You can tell by the sounds I make--many wild birdcalls and the nighttime croak of a frog. I'm an energetic, able flyer, so I will make the most of my new aviary home. Maybe my improved diet, from all seeds to mostly pellets, is partly responsible for my high energy. Veggies and other greens are not so appealing to me, but if I have aviary mates who like them, I'll probably learn to eat them, too. I'm sure I'll be a very entertaining aviary resident, bringing much joy to my new owners. Just Askem. Story posted on: March 18, 2006 Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
