UPDATE 1/29/06: "Maybe it's all those years sleeping by campfires on the lone prairie -- whatever the reason, sometimes Cowboy likes to curl up and lay his head down to take a nap. Here he is taking a break from giraffe wrangling!" Howdy, Pardners. I'm Cowboy, the giraffe wrangler (as you c'n see from my picture). Well, that's as good a story as any. Me and the giraffe are gettin' to be pretty good pals, hangin' out here in the Mickaboo corral. Well, it's actually a Mickaboo foster home, but it's a whole heap better'n that last place -- the pokey! You know, the hoosegow. (Ok, the animal shelter.) I'm a normal gray male cockatiel, maybe gettin' to be a little long in the tooth (uh, beak), with a little rheumatiz in the old joints. But I still have some good years left and I'd sure like to spend 'em gettin' to know you. I'm not what you'd call a back-slapper, but I'm not an outlaw either. I'm interested in other folks, and very curious about explorin' my surroundings. So if you'd like to get acquainted, then it would be happy trails for all of us! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
