Hi, my name is Chandler and I'm about 9 years old. I've been living in an aviary for the last 5 years but am pretty comfortable in a cage (though I don't like to call it that). As long as I'm with my bestest buddy Nicholas. That's him on the left and me on the right. I'm pestering Nicholas to give me a scritch but h's playing hard to get, as usual. My human says I'm a feisty sorta guy, whatever that means. I do have a tendency to nip at fingers...maybe that's what feisty means? Who cares! I love Nicholas first and foremost and I will always look out for him. My human is working with me to do step up again. I actually do know how, I just think it's funny to pretend like I don't. I'm pretty good looking though I have a few feathers that grow out at odd angles. But what ya gonna do? We all got sump'n we don't like about our looks, eh? I'd be very happy in an aviary or in a cage - but I absolutely must have my Nicholas. Morning, Noon and Night. Oh and I have a beautiful singing voice, especially in the evening, and know several different songs, wolf whistle and kiss kiss sounds. Hello, I'm Nicholas (from the Russian name Nikolai which means One who overcomes) and I'm about 6 years old. Chandler has been my brother for over 2 years. My human rescued me from a bully parakeet who was bad to me for a long time. So my feathers don't grow out much any more on my wings. But that's ok, I'm still pretty darn good looking. I was quite shy and non-trusting of humans and birds but now I'm a confident sorta fellow and pretty easy going. I don't sing at all but I do enjoy Chandler's vocals to be sure. I'm comfortable in an aviary or cage as long as my buddy Chandler is along for the ride. I'm pretty good at step up, though I'm a little out of practice. My human is working with me and my brother and says we are getting better every day. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
