UPDATE 1/27/05 Here is the latest report from Little Guy's new Mom: We have had Little Guy for almost 8 months and he is a 2 year old fearless Senegal. He loves to sit on top of our cockatiel's cage and harass him. His favorite dinner is pasta with peas and a cob of corn, and for nightly entertainment he will sit on my shoulder and watch TV. He loves to be stroked from head to tail. You may have heard of quite a few Mickaboo birds who were at animal shelters before they moved up to Mickaboo. Well, I'm Little Guy, a cute Senegal parrot, and when people say I was dumped at a shelter, they really mean dumped. I was left outside in a rusty cage. It may be clue to my earlier life that I have plucked most of my chest feathers. All this, and the vet guesses my age at only about 2 years. So I have a lot of years to look forward to, and thank to Mickaboo I really am looking forward. I like pellets, grapes, apples, peas, corn on the cob, pasta and potatoes, so think what a fun dinner companion I'll make. On top of that, I love to have my head rubbed and will be happy riding on your shoulder. (So I'll admit my former owner must have done a few things right.)
