Obviously, not all Mickaboo birds have sad beginnings. Bobbie and Blue are two young female budgies who lived in a very happy home, where they were very much loved and cared for. Unfortunately, their person can no longer care for them due to health problems. She was very unhappy about giving them up, and sent them with a very nice dowry, in addition to a booklet that tells all about them and their lives so far. Their person loved having them near her, so their cage was moved around the house during the day, including some outdoor time on sunny days. They liked being outdoors, and imitate the calls of the scrub jays and crows they were used to hearing. Because Bobbie and Blue love watching cartoons and listening to music, they bring along their own movies and music videos. They especially like Bambi, and have their own DVD of the movie. Their cage is full of toys which they play with individually and together. They even have their own cage covers and a clock whose ticking they are used to hearing at night. Bobbie is the pretty turquoise budgie in the picture, and Blue is (surprise!) blue. Bobbie is the adventurer; she likes hanging upside down and she always tries everything first. Blue is more cautious, and she worries that Bobbie might get hurt in her adventures. Since Bobbie and Blue were bought from a pet store, we don't know how old they are exactly, but probably about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. They are not finger tame because no one has tried to tame them before, but they could probably adjust to people's hands with some patience and time.
