UPDATE: Stewie has bonded to his cagemate, Doodlebug. Since these two seem quite fond of each other, their foster mom feels it would be unkind to separate them. These are two very sweet little budgies that would make very nice housemates for anyone. My name is Stewie and I am a handsome male budgie, just 3 years old. I was purchased from a PetSmart in August 2004 as a pet for a young boy. Well, that boy is growing up and no longer has time to spend with little old me--I mean little young me! Right now I eat some pellets but am on a mostly seed diet. However, my foster mom is trying to introduce me to veggies and other good stuff. I am not yet hand tame, but I whistle beautiful tunes to my companion in the mirror. I am pretty much in love with that cutie in there, but maybe if I met a real-life budgie, we could become best pals and my love could be reciprocated! Do you have a single budgie who would like some company? Or with some patience and effort, maybe I will learn to love a person, too. Right now, I don't require a whole lot of work--would you adopt me and see if we can make some beautiful music together?
